After the devastating 2003 wildfires that destroyed hundreds of homes and threatened a major city, BC Wildfire Services and the Office of the Fire Commissioner saw the need for better structure protection. Custom aluminum shelving maximizes usable space while reducing trailer weight, allowing the interior to be fully “walk-in.” This allows firefighters to deploy equipment comfortably without crouching or turning sideways. 

Fully loaded, the trailer weighs under 9,400 lbs—well within the towing capacity of most modern ½-ton pickups—with a 12,000 lb weight rating providing capacity for additional gear.
